Step-by-Step Guide

  • Copy mediapatcher.exe to your silkroad directory and execute it. Select ‘yes’ in the following popups.
  • Run nuConnector9.20.exe
  • Run agBot.exe
  • Now run Silkroad.exe, start Silkroad and log in to your account.
  • Open the bot-window and click on “Start Walkscript” if the icon is red so that it turns blue.
  • On the bottom of the bot-window tick the option “Execute Script” and select your town:
  • Select your mob-script:
  • [optional] You can use AgDev to create a mob-script. Just put the file into the “MonsterScript”-folder in your agbot folder.
  • Click on purchasebutton
  • Select what the bot should buy in town on every loop. (Red marked fields are the most important)
  • Click on the arrow next to the Config-Button and click on “Auto Party”. Select your options.
  • [optional] The Auto-Pot function. If you want that agbot and not sro uses the Autopot function activate it.
  • Click on configbutton
  • The Config-Settings:
1: Choose the type of monster your bot should attack.
2: Choose the type of monster your bot should attack in berserk (ready) mode.
3: You may tick the options “Kill-” or “Select High HP monster first” for more efficient hunting.
4: Tick the options of when your bot should activate berserk-mode.
5: Tick whose items the bot should pick up.
6: On “Item Select” you can choose what items the bot should pick up/store/sell (move the items by using the arrow-buttons on the bottom of the page). On “Monster Select” you can choose what mob he should attack and which he shouldn´t.
7: Tick the “Loop after teleport” option if you want the bot to loop!
8: Set the delays after teleports/attacks/purchasing. The default settings are good though.
  • Click on the arrow next to the Config-Button again and click on “Return to town”.
  • Choose your settings.
  • Click on the arrow next to the Config-Button again and click on “Skill List”.
  • Now add you skills like this: First look for your Imbue skill then right-click it and click “add imbue”. Then you go for your Buffs: Right-click —>”add Buff”. Now the attack skills: Right-click—>”add [first attack]” (agbot will always start with this attack on every mob) —>Right-click (on other skill)—>”add [general attack]“.
  • Your bot-settings are now complete. To start the bot go to the teleport-spot of your town (the spot where you get when you use a return-scroll or die) and click on the “Start Walkscript” Button.

Now we’re ready and can leave the bot alone but babysit him for the first loop so that you can be sure that everything is running fine.

Agbot with edxDetour and hook.exe [unsecure since 11/05/2010]

Dienstag, April 27th, 2010

1st Thing: Copy your complete Silkroad folder to have one legit folder without changes and one folder to add the edxDetour thing. This saves some time ;)

Else be sure to have the Library-Files (1641), Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) or if you are on 64bit Windows Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) installed. Otherwise you will get errors in the following steps. If you have problems go to and have a look at the forum. Now we are going to install the hook:

Open \Package\edxDetourDataFileCreator.exe
You will see something like this:

The right side should be empty, on the left side you need to add the following:
Original IP: up to (press ‘add’ and go on -> change only the last digits of the ip. One after the other)
Original port: 15779
New ip:
New port: 15778

After you have done this you close the window and confirm the upcoming message with yes. Then open the ‘hook.exe’. If you have Windows UAC enabled you will need to press ‘yes’ in the windows message to let windows open the program. The following window should pop up:

You press ‘Yes’. This file will change a registry setting which may cause to an error. Try to run hook.exe as admin (Right click hook.exe and click “Run as Admin). If you still get some errors you should open it in compatibility mode (Right click hook.exe and click on properties, select Compatibility and mark “XP Sp2″). I did not get an error. If you have done you will see this message:

If this is done you can …
… open nuconnector
… open agbot
… open silkroad normally

Agbot with MS Virtual PC 2007

Dienstag, April 27th, 2010

You do not have to use this method if you want to use edxDetour. This way with Virtual PC is just an alternative.

Download Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (scroll down to get 32bit or 64bit version) … laylang=en

Download this prepared hardrive for VPC:

Install Virtual PC 2007
Open Virtual PC 2007
Click on New…
Create a new Virtual Machine
Write a name and click next
Choose Windows XP and click next
Use recommanded RAM and click next
“An existing virtual Hard disk” and click next
Unzip you just downloaded from rapidshare and point to that file
Click Finish

Select it and click on Settings
Click on networking
Make it to have only 1 network adapter
Select the network adapter that you use to connect to the internet
Click on OK

If you use your mouse in the virtual machine and you want to have your mouse outside of the virtual machine, click once on the button “ALT” on the right side of the space bar, or also known as “ATL CTRL” or “CTRL ALT” – it’s the alt button on the right side of the space bar [Ctrl] [Win-Key] [Alt] [Space bar] [Alt Ctrl] [Win-Key] [###] [Ctrl]

Select your virtual machine and click “Start it”
You will now have a windows opening Windows XP with agbot and nuconnector preinstalled on it

DO NOT USE edxDetour!!!!

If you have edxDetour, please uninstall it.

Inside the virtual machine:
Open Nuconnector Random
Open Agbot

Nuconnector should show something similar to:
Host name is EXPERIEN-DE3E80
Using address: IPADDRESSHERE

From your real computer you can access the share directory of this virtual computer by opening the explorer and type in this:
\\IPADDRESSHERE (the ip adress of the virtual machine)

Then you can upload your agbot files to update agbot from your main computer if you want to upload your previous saved configuration.

Now that we have this setup, there is 1 step missing.
How to get silkroad connected to nuconnector and agbot on the virtual machine:

Open: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts with notepad on the real computer
Add this:

Where IPADDRESSHERE is the value written in nuconnector on the virtual machine.

You are done, now when you open silkroad, it will send silkroad connection to the virtual machine by re-routing the dns.

You can also use 2 computers to achieve the same result.

Starting Agbot

Montag, Februar 15th, 2010

1. Start nuconnectorXXX.exe

2. Start Agbot
If Agbot won’t start (and you get a ‘missing *.ocx’ error), please install Library-Files (1641). If you’re using Windows Vista/Windows 7, open agbot.exe as admin [right click on the file > run as admin].

Appearance log of nuconnectorXXX.exe

  1. listening for Bot Connection
  2. listening for sro_client
  3. connected to the sro_client

If these two steps are working you are done.

Login to Silkroad with your user name and password and choose your character. Check if it says ‘Char: Playername Lv:1′. Then something is wrong and u missed something. Does it show your correct character name and level you’re well.

Redirecting Traffic with Mediapatcher

Montag, Februar 15th, 2010

With mediapatcher you just patch your media.pk2 and redirect the traffic with silkroads own files, if you have a patched media.pk2 you cant play legit until you unpatch it.

If you want to patch your media.pk2 use this program then. In the Agbot folder there is a file called mediapatcher.exe. Copy that one to your Silkroad folder. Default location is c:\Program Files\Silkroad.

When you doubleclick the mediapatcher.exe file there will show up some message boxes where you clock ‘ok’.

Now the media.pk2 is patched, make sure Silkroad wasn’t running. Well, anyway this will not work if Silkroad is running. ;) Don’t remove the created ip.bak and port.bak files. You need thoose to unpatch the media.pk2.

Important edit: Do not use Mediapatcher.exe anymore since Legend V has been released! Mediapatcher.exe was modifying the media.pk2. Hackshield does a md5 hash on all the silkroad files to detect modified files.

Installing Agbot

Packet player – How to..

Montag, Februar 15th, 2010
{title} ({hits})

This is the “original” tutorial how to use the packet player (edited by me).

While playing Agbot records the data in the following folder: “/agbot/record/*”

To replay the recorded Stream you need the /agbot/record/pplayer.exe. Please, i am not sure whether pplayer.exe is actually supported working.

Close SilkroadOnline, close nuConnector, close Agbot

- Open pPlayer.exe
- Open Silkroad.exe with mediapatcher

Write a RANDOM username (e.g. userxyz) and password (asdasdasd) to login to the server. select the character that appears in the player selection and login with this.

Now Silkroad will freeze at the login screen. Go back to pPlayer.exe andselect the file from the list to replay it. Click on load. Silkroad will now REPLAY everything that happened while recording.

Please note, silkroad.exe might crash if you purchased item from npc normally. Silkroad might also crash during a teleport. Though those aren’t serious issue since you are not connected to or the game servers. There is 0 (zero/none) external connection from pplayer.exe and sro_client.exe to the internet. Everything is client sided and played locally.

This is the first version of pPlayer.exe. We will upgrade it within the following week for better result.
Question: I open pplayer.exe and there is an error?!
Answer: Close nuconnector (They use the same port which is why there is an error)
