Freitag, April 30th, 2010

I screwed up, i forgot to raise the counter to 25.
After upgrading to 24b, you will still see a warning
To upgrade to 24b, ignore it.

We will fix the delay that the bot has to cast skill.
Should be fixed within 24h from now.

We are doing some code cleaning today and optimisation tomorrow.

Ignore the update notice inside the bot from .24 to .24b.

Agbot with edxDetour and hook.exe [unsecure since 11/05/2010]

Dienstag, April 27th, 2010

1st Thing: Copy your complete Silkroad folder to have one legit folder without changes and one folder to add the edxDetour thing. This saves some time ;)

Else be sure to have the Library-Files (1641), Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) or if you are on 64bit Windows Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64) installed. Otherwise you will get errors in the following steps. If you have problems go to and have a look at the forum. Now we are going to install the hook:

Open \Package\edxDetourDataFileCreator.exe
You will see something like this:

The right side should be empty, on the left side you need to add the following:
Original IP: up to (press ‘add’ and go on -> change only the last digits of the ip. One after the other)
Original port: 15779
New ip:
New port: 15778

After you have done this you close the window and confirm the upcoming message with yes. Then open the ‘hook.exe’. If you have Windows UAC enabled you will need to press ‘yes’ in the windows message to let windows open the program. The following window should pop up:

You press ‘Yes’. This file will change a registry setting which may cause to an error. Try to run hook.exe as admin (Right click hook.exe and click “Run as Admin). If you still get some errors you should open it in compatibility mode (Right click hook.exe and click on properties, select Compatibility and mark “XP Sp2″). I did not get an error. If you have done you will see this message:

If this is done you can …
… open nuconnector
… open agbot
… open silkroad normally

Agbot with MS Virtual PC 2007

Dienstag, April 27th, 2010

You do not have to use this method if you want to use edxDetour. This way with Virtual PC is just an alternative.

Download Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (scroll down to get 32bit or 64bit version) … laylang=en

Download this prepared hardrive for VPC:

Install Virtual PC 2007
Open Virtual PC 2007
Click on New…
Create a new Virtual Machine
Write a name and click next
Choose Windows XP and click next
Use recommanded RAM and click next
“An existing virtual Hard disk” and click next
Unzip you just downloaded from rapidshare and point to that file
Click Finish

Select it and click on Settings
Click on networking
Make it to have only 1 network adapter
Select the network adapter that you use to connect to the internet
Click on OK

If you use your mouse in the virtual machine and you want to have your mouse outside of the virtual machine, click once on the button “ALT” on the right side of the space bar, or also known as “ATL CTRL” or “CTRL ALT” – it’s the alt button on the right side of the space bar [Ctrl] [Win-Key] [Alt] [Space bar] [Alt Ctrl] [Win-Key] [###] [Ctrl]

Select your virtual machine and click “Start it”
You will now have a windows opening Windows XP with agbot and nuconnector preinstalled on it

DO NOT USE edxDetour!!!!

If you have edxDetour, please uninstall it.

Inside the virtual machine:
Open Nuconnector Random
Open Agbot

Nuconnector should show something similar to:
Host name is EXPERIEN-DE3E80
Using address: IPADDRESSHERE

From your real computer you can access the share directory of this virtual computer by opening the explorer and type in this:
\\IPADDRESSHERE (the ip adress of the virtual machine)

Then you can upload your agbot files to update agbot from your main computer if you want to upload your previous saved configuration.

Now that we have this setup, there is 1 step missing.
How to get silkroad connected to nuconnector and agbot on the virtual machine:

Open: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts with notepad on the real computer
Add this:

Where IPADDRESSHERE is the value written in nuconnector on the virtual machine.

You are done, now when you open silkroad, it will send silkroad connection to the virtual machine by re-routing the dns.

You can also use 2 computers to achieve the same result.

Have fun – Credits to

Gizmodo got the iPhone

Gizmodo got the iPhone

Editor’s note: Geek Out! posts feature the latest and most interesting in nerd-culture news. From scifi and fantasy to gadgets and science, if you can geek out over it you can find it on Geek Out! Look for Geek Out! posts on CNN’s SciTech blog.

When it comes to shiny gadgets, there are some constants that geeks should all be aware of:

1. Your new thing will be outdated in months when the next new thing comes out, and it will be faster, sexier and cheaper than your current thing.

2. There will always be rumors of the next new thing from Apple.

The rumors begin months, sometimes years, before Apple announces an actual device. There were rumors of an Apple phone years before it came out. An Apple tablet device like the iPad is a similarly old rumor.

With each announcement, speculation about the next version begins before the freshly removed cellophane on the current model has had time to float to the floor.

Some prognosticators are better than others, because they have a better idea of what is most likely – usually not because of any real secret insight from within Apple. Apple is notorious for their tight security (the KGB and CIA could take lessons).

So it was utterly unbelievable that not only had a new Apple device been spotted in the wild, but that a site as well known as Gizmodo had their hands all over it.

It was amazing that Gizmodo was talking about it and had even torn the thing apart for the morbid amusement of many a fanboy.

In the meantime, the revelations about the device weren’t too shocking for those already speculating about the device:

  • A flash for the camera on the back of the phone was an obvious inclusion (it’s lack has been a major oversight in many opinions).
  • A larger battery is a surprise to almost no one. And it’ll probably last even longer than its increase in size would imply.
  • A higher resolution display would also be an obvious addition. And might foretell HD video capture for the camera (putting the iPhone as a stronger competitor for devices like the Flip Cam).
  • But the overall design was somewhat surprising. The iconic iPhone has evolved into a sleek, less curved, device with a metal band around the perimeter. Solid metal buttons for volume. The SIM card slot has been moved to the side, and now apparently uses the same micro-SIM used in the iPad 3G being released at the end of this month.

Will the micro-SIMs be swappable between the iPad and the new iPhone? The iPad offers 250MB or unlimited data monthly plans with no contract from AT&T. I suspect it will be locked down somehow.

The back of the device seems to be different as well. Speculation seems to point to an Apple patent for a ceramic case, which is transparent to electromagnetic waves used by WiFi and cellular devices.

Probably the biggest surprise is a forward-facing camera in addition to the standard rear camera. The only obvious purpose for this will be for video chatting. but just as the accelerometer was applied to unforeseen applications, don’t be surprised at the uses some developers may put the new camera (control apps with the wave of your hand).

Apple requested, and received, the device back, which all but proves that it is a legitimate Apple produced device. But is it a final design? Many companies produce several different designs for new products. Is this the final configuration for the device?

The iPad has a space for a forward facing camera, but one wasn’t included in the released product. Will this delay the release of the new product? Doubtful as Apple likes to keep to their timetables.

And more importantly, will the poor engineer who lost the phone in the first place ever be released from Apple purgatory? Will his career ever advance beyond mop-pusher? Will he be re-located to Apple’s secret research facility at the South Pole?

What do you think, fellow Apple geeks?
